*14cm of fresh snow has fallen in the last 24hrs just outside of Hirafu Village. At 7:15 today the temperature was -8°C.

Mid winter conditions this morning with freezing temperatures and fresh snow. Yesterday’s wild winds seem to have mellowed out at village level but we suspect at higher elevations the wind may still be a factor. One this is for sure there will be great riding to me had all over there resorts.
If you venture out the gates make sure you read the avalanche report and be prepared for all eventualities and carry safety gear.
