What’s happening today

Today is “Coming of Age Day” in Japan and a public holiday. The day is used to congratulate anyone who has reached the age of 20 that marks the start of adulthood. There will be parties and celebrations held across Japan and many of the women will be wearing kimono. Take a trip to Niseko Town or Kutchan if you want to see people dressed up and taking part in the celebrations.

It’s a full moon tonight so if the sky is clear there will be some amazing ambient light to ride under. Jump on the Triple Hooded lift in Hirafu to ride the Rinkan ski run.

Dinner at Ezo

Last night it was a friends birthday and we had a seafood feast at Ezo Seafoods. Here are a few photos of the meal and how Hirafu was looking after dark.
