An amazing day in Niseko with beautiful spring conditions. This morning i got out for an early morning ride with Ken and headed out to the ‘Potoato Fields’ around the outskirts of Kutchan. If you are living in the region or visiting Niseko this summer do yourself a favor and get out there on a bike, there are courses to suit any level of fitness or ability from gentle flat cruises to hardcore mountain biking trails. In an hour and a half we rode 37kms and you can check out the route here if you are interested – a great start to the day. After grabbing some breakfast and a coffee i headed up to Hirafu Ski Ground for the first time in nearly 2 weeks. The resort still has a good general coverage but there are alot of exposed areas creeping in and Super is closed – there are some serious cracks on One Ridge.

I headed to the Spring Park to get some park shots, the bluebird conditions stayed with us until 12:30 when it clouded over a little. Loving spring the best of both worlds. Will have to see if we can do the trifecta in one day Cycle / Ski / Surf.
