*33.5cm of fresh snow has fallen in the last 24hrs in Hirafu Village. At 7:00 today the temperature was -4°C.

The cold snap continues with unseasonably cold temperatures and heavy snowfall.

Recent conditions have taken a lot of people around town by surprise including the snow plowers – great to see them back on the job this morning.

    • Hi David, Snow at this time of year is not really out of the norm for Niseko but dumps as big a 33cm this early is unusual. We hope you have a great holiday here this season. Thanks for following.
