What’s happening today

With the stellar weather right now we will head up Niseko Mt Resort Grand Hirafu this morning and practice our turns on Large and then burn all the way down to the Niseko Gondola via Ni-kabe and then Kogen, before heading back up the mountain to snap some photos and enjoy the views.

A Cold start

Very cold over night and this morning but beautiful.

  1. What a fantastic shot ‘starry night’ over (I assume) your house. The exposure and lighting is brilliant. What camera do you use Glen?

    • Hi Julia, thanks again for the kind words. I used a Canon S90 which is a few years old now the latest version is the S100 – it is a pocket camera but takes sweet shots. For the night image i used a small tripod and the exposure was 15 sec at F.2.8 iso125. Thanks for following the blog and daily snow reports.
