What’s happening today
After the drive yesterday morning to Annupuri a short walk to the ski lift will find us at the bottom of the Hirafu ski ground. First off we will make our way to the top of the King Triple lift for a run down to Kokutai and then move further down the mountain and tackle Onsenzawa and make a brief stop at Herbies Umbrella Bar. After the refreshments we will make our way over to the other side of the ski resort to hunt down a few fresh tracks in Waterfall.
Rime and Hoar Frost
Rime or hoar frost are the white ice crystals that form on stuff, here are a few things it has formed on above 1000m on Mt. Niseko Annupuri.
