A Hirafu Institution and much loved cafe is almost gone. Green Farm Cafe, Holiday Niseko, Niseko Property and Rhythm Summit and Hokkaido Mountain Experience will all make way for the re-development of the entire block and construction of a new Hotel and commercial space called Aozora ( Blue Sky ).

Today is the day,
That we say hooray,We’ll fire up the BBQ from noon in the sun.
Please join us on the corner for an afternoon of fun.Come one, come all, it’s a communal affair,
Don’t be afraid to come as a pair.From 12 noon, the drinks will be flowing,
Fashionably late, the meat piles growing.Fear not if your wallet is bare,
Plentiful food on the table to share.Seven years in the making,
Dennis’ gout constantly aching.We bid goodbye to the famous intersection,
To make way for a big ol erection.With music and cheer,
And plenty of beer.Four Twenty is the day,
