With the start of a new month it seemed like a good time to head over to Niseko Annupuri Ski Ground for some fresh tracks on the groomed runs.

The visability ended up not being too bad at about 100m, our first tracks down Utopia were amazing. Silky fast turns on the un-tracked spring corn!

After a quick run all the way back to base on the 2nd run we ventured up higher from the top of the gondola and caught the Jumbo Pair Lift # 4 and were surprised to find 2cm of fresh snow at the top!!

Needless to say – great turns down Champion.

On a more serious note it was sobering to read the Niseko Avalanche Information next to Gate 2 detailing the recent full depth avalanches in the region.
