Cycling over the Mt.Annupuri range yesterday from the Hanazono direction on route 58 the north face was still looking worthy of a few summer turns.

While wondering about the possibility of bears in the area I was startled to see a lone skier emerging from the thick woods by the side of the road!

Akio-san had hiked to the peak and said the views were fantastic and the skiing incredible – “The snow was excellent and it felt great in the beautiful weather”.
