Gate 3 is the jewel in the crown allowing access to the The “Peak” Hike. Although the visibility wasn’t great it didn’t matter because the snow was!

It is important to note that although the gates are open anyone entering the gates does so at their own risk. It is recommended that anyone using the gates has appropriate backcountry safety gear – beacon, shovel and probe at least. Please follow the local Niseko rules which give us the right to access amazing snow through Niseko’s own unique gate system.
