Here we go, 1 December 2015
Yesterday Niseko Grand Hirafu and Niseko Annupuri opened for the start of the 2015-16 season. We checked out Niseko Grand Hirafu. The skiing and boarding was limited to Center course mid mountain but the coverage was pretty good. There is still a crazy amount of sasa ( bamboo ) and undergrowth around making any kind of off course action pretty much impossible. Patience required.
None the less awesome to get back on the mountain and put a few turns in. It shouldn’t be too long before more terrain opens up after the next couple of dumps.
