The snow has returned to Niseko. According to Kutchan town the first snow fall on Mt. Yotei was on the 4th of October. 360niseko mistakenly reported the first snow fall on 26th of September however this was frost. Since then Mt. Yotei has had a couple light dustings…that has all changed today.
Temperatures have plummeted and as you can see snowfall is making it’s way down the mountain and it looks like we can expect snow at village level over night.
So without any further ado how much snow did fall last season?

The exact figures for snowfall on the upper mountain are difficult to assess. If anyone was verifiable accurate figures for this we would love to hear from you. *We would like to point out that we are not meteorologists, we just love snow and Niseko.
