After the recent deluge of snow – 64cm in the last week – yesterday seemed like a good time to test the snow quality on the upper mountain before the predicted warm front moved into the region.

Conditions on the upper mountain were very deep – over a meter at the top of Jumbo. Chances are the snow base will stay in good condition until the resort opens.
