After a long wait Grand Hirafu is now scheduled to open this weekend on the 3oth. It looks like the snow is about to return to the region. Blizzard like conditions have been forecast with temperatures dropping rapidly this afternoon and a huge cold front moving into the region.

Mountainwatch have just released their 7 day forecast and we like what we see. For the next 3 days 61cm is predicted to fall in Niseko and 95cm in the next 7 days!
