Lake Toya Delight

by | Oct 21, 2015 | News | 0 comments

Lake Toya is only 45 minutes from Niseko and a staggeringly beautiful throughout the year. Last weekend the Autumn colours were at their peak and we had the chance to explore the lake by boat.

We first headed out to the island ( Nakajima ) and then cruised around the lake marvelling at the spring colours in perfect weather.

The lake is now closed for boating until next spring but if you are here in the summer months contact Black Diamond Tours who offer wakeboarding / water skiing / tubing and sightseeing tours in their amazing boat the ” Black Pearl”.

If you are visiting over the winter Toya is still a great sightseeing destination with plenty of things to see and do and we highly recommend a visit.
