Early mornings aren’t for everyone. Yesterday’s clear early morning skies seemed like a good time to check out Mt. Annupuri peak. Setting off from Hirafu village in the darkness definitely tests a hikers motivation.
All is quickly forgotten after arriving at the summit. Good morning!!

With cold weather moving into the region later in the week snowfall is expected on the weekend and early next week.
Fingers crossed for the scheduled opening of Mt Niseko Grand Hirafu Resort on the 23rd of November.
