A pinch and a punch for the first day of the month? No thanks, but a hike to the peak with old friends – YES!
On the 1st of May, the weather was beautiful, and as we were into the last week of lift operations, the timing was perfect for a hike to “the peak.” With Niseko Annupuri still running all of their lifts with top-to-bottom skiing and snowboarding, the scene was set.
After a long season, most people have packed away their skis and snowboards for the season, but it was awesome to get up there with the other diehards. As they say, any day in the mountains is a good day.
