*0.5cm of fresh snow has fallen in the last 24hrs just outside of Hirafu Village. At 7:00 today the temperature was 0°C.
Colder temperatures and snowfall have returned to the region! Although we have only had 0.5 of a cm here at village level there will undoubtably be much more higher up on the mountain. This general rule is always the case throughout the season but especially so in spring.
Can we expect any more powder days?
There are no guarantee’s but we think there is definitely a good chance. Check out this video shot in the first week of April back in 2012!
