The first guests to walk through Ki Niseko’s doors when it opens this Saturday can expect unrivalled ski-in ski-out access to the Niseko’s famous powder skiing, stunning views of Mt Yotei and the surrounding mountains and an array of amenities to make the stay at Niseko’s newest hotel a truly luxurious experience.
Added to that, Gondola Snowsports, the official international ski school of Niseko-Hirafu resort, is less than 50m from the door of the private ski valet, so the location can be enjoyed by beginners and experts alike. Those opting to take on the resort on their own can head directly to Hirafu’s high-speed gondola or Holiday Pair lift, both just a short walk away.
Before hitting the slopes outside their door guests can schedule a dip at day’s end in one of the resort’s private mineral-rich onsen hot springs to be followed by a massage. There’s no better way to relax after a day out on the mountain.
For dining, Niseko offers quality and variety – though nothing better than Ki Niseko’s An Dining, where guests can try Japanese exquisite Izakaya-style meals prepared to perfection by celebrity head chef Shinichi Maeda. Happy skiers can also toast to an excellent day on the slopes with a glass of sake or wine from the cafe, restaurant or bar.
Niseko’s first eco-friendly resort is open year-round, so if the preference is for sunshine and greenery over black runs and bottomless powder, guests can plan their holiday for the warmer months, where they will have access to four pristine golf courses, world-class mountain biking, picturesque hiking trails and much more.
Ki Niseko is now taking Winter 2014/15 reservations; guests can book online at kiniseko.com or email stay@kiniseko.com.
