Dropped into post SK8 PARK / S.O.L.A in Kutchan last night – the set up was formally known as Loaf Lounge but since the middle of last year re-opened under new management with a few changes.

On one side is post SK8 PARK and the other S.O.L.A, a cool restaurant serving up wood fired pizza’s and more.

Last night we just got stuck into the skating.

It is pretty cheap to use the bowl and mini ramp – 1,500 yen for one time or 1,000 yen to become a member + 800 yen there after. Here are a few pics I shot from 2007 when Loaf originally opened their bowl.

You don’t have to be an amazing skater to have fun at post, the mini ramp is forgiving and i even managed a few decent runs after a bit of practice – Jerrod killed it!

Took a couple dotspots and the 360 degree videos are interesting in the skate park – click on the image and then move your mouse to follow the skaters.

The bowl isn’t quite as forgiving as the mini ramp.

For a night out in K-Town and a change of pace S.O.L.A is worth a visit even if it is only to grab a pizza and a few beers with friends.
