Last Friday on the 1 June Rhythm Cycles opened for business. The team at Rhythm Cycles asked local BBQ guru Dennis of Niseko Green Farm and Downtown Cafe fame to put on a BBQ to celebrate the opening of the new shop.
The Rhythm team provided the perfect outdoor BBQ kitchen and Dennis put on a feast with a vast array of marinated meats, organic vegetables and even served up his own incredible homemade sausages.
The crowd slowly built up and food and drink just kept going – the master was at work.
With all of the amazing BBQ action going on it was almost easy to forget about the main show Rhythm Cycles. There was a palpable sense of excitement in the air spurred on by the shop opening for summer and catering to all types of cyclists from mountain bikers to road cyclists, family groups and more.
The shop also boasts as fully outfitted workshop and enthusiastic bike mechanic Andy who can get any bike back on the the road. Andy is also the Rhythm Cycles shop manager and blessed with an encyclopedic knowledge on all types of bikes and loves a chat, so drop by if you are interested in buying a new bike or getting your bike repaired – he is the man for the job.
This summer I have set up a GCP photography gallery in the other end of the building where I will be showcasing and selling my own fine art custom prints. Together with Sachiko we will be running ‘Gloorious Coffee’ serving fresh delicious coffee from 8:45am until 1:30pm six days a week Tuesday through Sunday. The prints will be changing quite regularly so there will always be something new to check out when you drop by for a Gloorious Lavazza coffee.
Back to the opening party BBQ. It was a huge night and I think it is fair to say that no one went hungry.
Rhythm Cycles is open 6 days a week Tuesday through Sunday 9:00am to 5:00pm.
