Skateboarding Hirafu-zaka

by | Nov 14, 2012 | News | 0 comments

As Niseko residents prepare for the inevitable arrival of winter, the first snowfall (Hatsu Yuki 初雪) this year is considerably later than usual.

Most locals have some kind of theory about what this will mean for the coming season, but there is one thing everyone agrees on – it snows a lot in Niseko on any given season.

Although skiing and snowboarding is not possible just yet, last weekend local jeweler HASHA and DAI-CHAN from SEED BAGEL AND COFFEE COMPANY took advantage of some good weather and the completion of the first upper section of Hirafu-zaka to put in some turns of a different kind.

We have been getting great results shooting with the ION Air Pro over the summer – the camera is very easy to work with and reliably delivers great results in any shooting conditions.
