Niseko is full of surprises….and this morning was a show stopper! Snow in Summer!! Despite the arguable technicalities…’is it snow or frost / is it summer or still spring’ the fact is that the last few day have been cold. Yesterday the morning temperature was 5 degrees and we only had a paltry top temperature of 12. Today is slightly better with a top temp of 16 forecast. It has obviously a lot colder up on Mt.Yotei. Seeing the summer green that has just emerged against the fresh snow on Mt.Yotei is just plain weird. There is no “Summer Snow” visible on Mt.Annupuri this morning. Ok enough already come on summer!
