What’s happening today

With this light covering of fresh snow we fancy a trip to Hanazono to ride through Strawberry Fields and when it can’t be ridden any more we will turn right when getting off the Hano #1 lift and then put in some laps down Setsuzoku and Silver Dream until the legs say no more.

If you’re in Hirafu village this evening head down to The Niseko Company at 7pm to watch the Taiko drumming whilst you enjoy a free hot chocolate, mulled wine or amazake.

  1. Hi Ben,
I noticed there is a large concrete wall in the background of your snow gauge.
    Does this effect accuracy?

    • Hi Sam,

There is a concrete wall where the table is but it does not seem to effect anything. You can read all about how we are measuring the snow in this post:

You can also view all of the data and view the difference between the three readings that are taken each morning, just click the link to the spreadsheet at the bottom of any snow report.

      Cheers Ben
