*24.6cm of fresh snow has fallen since yesterday morning and at 7:30 today the temperature was -8°C. The sun is shinning a little now and the first runs down the mountain will be epic.

What’s happening today

Today we will be riding Hirafu and Hanazono ski grounds, with Jumbo and Youtei Sunset being our runs of choice today.

Tonight there will be some great Jazz being played live at the Half Note, it will definitely be worth a look.

    Thanks for a great blog! I’ll be arriving in Niseko for the first time ever the 6th of january and will stay for two weeks. The conditions looks promising indeed!

    I live in Sweden and every morning (Swedish time) when I wake up, the first thing I do is to look at your snow report. It is amazingly fun and the graph you gave me yesterday over the snow fall and snow depth last season was great!
