There has been big changes to Hirafu village over the last few years, most notably the demolition of the Yamada Onsen, the Scot Hotel, Popolo Onsen, Kogen Hotel and the J First hotel all at the top of village.

We are pleased to see that work has commenced on Hirafu’s latest large development in the upper village Ki Niseko . This development reverses the recent trend and ushers in a new era for ski in ski out accommodation in Niseko Hirafu.

Construction work has started on the foundations but will stop in December and resume in spring with the building scheduled to open for the 2014-2015 winter season.

The location is amazing and judging by the panoramic views on the Ki Niseko website coupled with the location adjacent to the Hirafu Gondola there is no doubt this development will be a popular addition to the Hirafu landscape.
