*0 of fresh snow has fallen in the last 24hrs in Hirafu Village. At 7:00 today the temperature was 6°C. Unfortunately things are going to get worse before they get better…rain is on the forecast and the cloudy conditions match the pervading sense of gloom this morning in the 360niseko HQ. To really compound things just check out last years snow report from the 15th of December 2014 – ouch!
And the good news is….snow is in the forecast from tomorrow night and should keep falling for a few days at least.
- Snow depth at the peak, 135cm
- Snow depth at the base, 30cm
- Accumulative snow fall to date in lower Hirafu village, 152.5cm
- JMA’s six hour precipitation forecast, possibly the most accurate weather map
- Real time lift operations.
- The latest Niseko avalanche report.
