*4cm of fresh snow has fallen in the last 24hrs just outside of Hirafu Village. At 7:15 today the temperature was -4°C.
And we’re back with fresh snowfall. After a great couple of days of sunshine and epic views conditions have returned to “normal” – it is snowing. Just a modest top up overnight at village level but there should be deeper deposits higher up on the mountain.
Snowfall is predicted to continue for the next week so let’s see what happens! How much will fall…1 meter?
