0 cm of snowfall in Niseko over the last 24 hours (8 cm yesterday). At 9:30 this morning, the temperature was 7°C. Conditions are currently very warm, and we experienced very heavy rainfall early this morning. More rain is predicted throughout the day and into the evening.
The weather will be all over the place for the next week. We can expect some snowfall later tomorrow, followed by rising temperatures over Christmas and into the New Year. It’s a great day to do some Christmas shopping.
Yesterday we received 8 cm of fresh snowfall in the preceding 24-hour period and were blessed with clear skies and excellent conditions. Here is a shot of Grand Hirafu all lit up.

360niseko Snow Station Readings Disclaimer
Our intention is to post daily snow reports if there is snowfall but there are consecutive days of no snowfall then we will most likely not do a “Snow Report” The 360niseko’s snow station for the 2025-26 season is in Higashiyama at 200m *The Hirafu Gondola is at 305m. Please be aware that this new reading is NOT in Hirafu village but a few kilometers down the road. There is always a deviation how and where the snow falls – the area is famous for micro climates and mini weather patterns. Some days there may be 10cm in Annupuri and 25cm in Hanazono and vice versa – some days 30cm of fresh snowfall comes down everywhere!! Altitude plays a big part as well so please don’t take the 360niseko snow readings as being definitive – the readings are taken from what is outside our house on the ground.
