*68cm snowfall in Niseko over the last 24 hrs. At 8:00 today the temperature was -3°C. Incredible snowfall. Since we started doing daily snow reports this is easily the deepest day we have EVER seen. It will be very chaotic today on the roads….or even getting on the roads. On the mountain expect lift delays as it it possible the upper lifts will be struggling to function in this amount of snowfall. There will mostly be too much snowfall in many sections of the resort with flat deep sections everywhere. Snowboarders this might even bee a good day to take your poles for the first few turns! Skiers and boarders, suggest getting your widest powder set up ready because it is ON this morning! * Allow an extra 30 mins at least of extra time to your usual morning routine because it will be a struggle this morning for everyone. Spare a thought for the snow clearers as it is still dumping!

360niseko Snow Station Readings Disclaimer
Our intention is to post daily snow reports if there is snowfall but there are consecutive days of no snowfall then we will most likely not do a “Snow Report”
The 360niseko’s snow station for the 2023-24 season is in Higashiyama at 200m *The Hirafu Gondola is at 305m. Please be aware that this new reading is NOT in Hirafu village but a few kilometers down the road. There is always a deviation how and where the snow falls – the area is famous for micro climates and mini weather patterns. Some days there may be 10cm in Annupuri and 25cm in Hanazono and vice versa – some days 30cm of fresh snowfall comes down everywhere!! Altitude plays a big part as well so please don’t take the 360niseko snow readings as being definitive – the readings are taken from what is outside our house on the ground.
