*27cm of fresh snow has fallen in the last 24hrs just outside of Hirafu Village. At 6:30 today the temperature was -3°C.
A whopping amount of snow in the last 24 hours should put a smile on many faces today. There’s still a strong wind present so be careful if you head up the mountain. Needless to say, there’s going to be some great pow-pow around for the next few days.
