*5cm of fresh snow has fallen in the last 24hrs just outside of Hirafu Village. At 8:30 today the temperature was -10°C.
It’s a bit of a deceptive level today – 5cm on the ruler, but they are large crystal flakes with plenty of space between then. Further up the mountain is going to be glorious.
