Niseko Snow Report, 7 May 2018

by | May 7, 2018 | News, Resort, Snow Reports | 0 comments

After an epic 5 and a half months of lift operations the end of the season has come. Yesterday was the last day at the remaining resorts operating in Niseko United, Niseko Annupuri and Grand Hirafu. From the 10th of April when we received the last dump until yesterday we have had no substantial snowfall at village level. Higher up there has been a few flurries but no more resets. As of yesterday there was still a base of 255cm at the peak. In Niseko Annupuri top to bottom skiing was possible but in Grand Hirafu downloading was enforced due to the lack of snowfall.

2017-18 Season Total Snowfall!

Accumulative snow fall to date in Niseko: 1415cm

We headed out in yesterday’s gloomy weather to get a few shots of the final day in Annupuri and Hirafu 😉

Thank you to all our followers over the season and our sponsors for making 360niseko possible. It was a lot of fun as always easy to report when there is relentless snowfall like we seemed to get from the end of November until March! With double the amount of last years snowfall it was a cracking season and we are already counting the days unto the start of next season in 6 and a half months on the 24th of November!!
