*21cm of fresh snow has fallen in the last 24hrs in Hirafu Village. At 7:00 today the temperature was -4°C.
Heavy snowfall yesterday and overnight and (drum roll) it is still snowing! The tap has been tuned ON and this may be the best day of the season so far with cold temperatures and a good base.
Although we have had a great dump if you are heading up on the mountain just remember that there are still lots of rocks, bushes, stumps, holes etc just below the surface in places. Please be careful if you are venturing off the groomed runs and don’t ride alone. It is tempting to hit everything but ride with in your ability and experience here in Niseko. Have fun out there. POWDER DAY!!!
