*18cm of fresh snow has fallen in the last 24hrs just outside of Hirafu Village. At 7:00 today the temperature was -4°C.

An excellent overnight dump of dry light Hokkaido japow…the only problem is the wind. Let’s see what opens this morning. Unfortunately strong winds have been predicted over the next 2 days.
