Sharp Edges

*0cm of fresh snow has fallen since yesterday morning and at 7:45am today the temperature was 1°c. Not the best weather for our weekend visitors with blustery overcast conditions. The piste runs will be fast and hard and it is definitely time to make sure your edges are nice and sharp.

What’s happening today

The Hirafu ski ground will deliver some as usual catching the gondola up and flying down Nikabe and Kogen is one of the best early morning loops anywhere on the mountain. Any of the un groomed runs like Konayuki will be probably best avoided due to the freeze thaw conditions.

Closing Parties…

Although the season is far from over for locals and hopefully there is still a lot of snow to come visitor numbers have started top drop off bars are starting to shut up shop for the season in Hirafu village.
