*22.5cm of fresh snow has fallen in the last 24hrs in Hirafu Village. At 7:00 today the temperature was -4°C.
Snow snow snow – the good times just keep getting dumped on us here in Niseko with another quality dump overnight!
We have well and truly passed the 4 meter mark for accumulative snowfall for December with 388.5cm recorded on our snow station. It is safe to say much more has fallen higher up.
With 47.5cm of accumnulative snowfall recorded in November which doesn’t really count because it melted away and now 388.5 cm falling so far in December the odds are looking good for hitting the 5 meter mark!
The outlook is for continued snowfall for the remainder of the week.
