*27.7cm of fresh snow has fallen in the last 24hrs in Hirafu Village. At 7:00 today the temperature was -4°C.
Last night the relentless snowfall of the last few weeks finally eased off. There have been a few light snow flurries overnight but most of the accumulative snowfall above came down during the day yesterday.
Presently conditions are calm at village level. Temperatures are forecast to rise over the next few days before the next storm arrives to ring in the new year.
Conditions will be amazing again on the mountain – lease remember to read the avalanche report and keep an eye out for your fellow skiers and snowboarders out there today!
