*4cm of fresh snow has fallen in the last 24hrs just outside of Hirafu Village. At 7:00 today the temperature was -5°C.

There should be plenty of good snow left on the mountain and we suggest making the most of it today because there is a huge storm approaching with a blizzard warning in place for Saturday and Sunday with heavy snowfall and strong winds!
