*10cm or more has fallen since 15:00 yesterday in Niseko ( please read the update below). At 7:00 today the temperature was -7°C.The incredible snowfall just keeps coming and today will be yet another deep powder feast. With all gates now opening when conditions allow the skiing and snowboarding in Niseko is absolutely mind blowing. The week ahead is looking like more of the same with continued cold temperatures and snowfall expected.
※昨日のニセコでは15時から10cm以上落ちています（下記アップデートをお読みください）。今日の7:00の気温は-7°Cでした。信じられないほどの降雪が続き、今日はまた別の深い粉の饗宴になります。ニセコでのスキーやスノーボードが許せば、すべてのゲートが開くようになりました。先週は同じように見え、引き続き寒い気温と降雪が予想されます。

A New Year Snow Update
After being out of town since the afternoon of the 31st we found a 50cm compacted accumulation on the snow station. Looking at the Snow Japan Niseko Now figures we had accumulations of: 18cm on Jan 1st , 24cm on Jan 2nd and 18cm on Jan – 60cm. Interestingly we only had a 10cm deviation as the snow compacted over 3 days. We will update our figures based on Snow Japans snowfall figures later today over the past 24 hr period.
31日の午後から町を離れた後、スノーステーションに50cmの圧縮された堆積物を見つけました。スノージャパンニセコナウの数字を見ると、1月1日18cm、1月2日24cm、1月18cm〜60cmの積雪がありました。興味深いことに、雪が3日間で圧縮されたため、偏差は10cmしかありませんでした。過去24時間の本日遅くに、SnowJapansの降雪量に基づいて数値を更新します。

360niseko Snow Station Readings Disclaimer
The 360niseko’s snow station for the 2020-21 season is in Higashiyama at 200m *The Hirafu Gondola is at 305m. Please be aware that this new reading is NOT in Hirafu village but a few kilometers down the road. There is always a deviation how and where the snow falls – the area is famous for micro climates and mini weather patterns. Some days there may be 10cm in Annupuri and 25cm in Hanazono and vice versa – some days 30cm of fresh snowfall comes down everywhere!! Altitude plays a big part as well so please don’t take the 360niseko snow readings as being definitive – the readings are taken from what is outside our house on the ground.
