*0.5cm of fresh snow has accumulated in the last 24hrs in Niseko. At 7:00 today the temperature was -1°C. Although we only have 0.5 on the snow station at higher elevations there certainly would be much more as it snow most of the day yesterday. It is a beautiful morning here in Niseko with cold temperatures and clear skies. The sun will be out for most of the day today so we can expect quite a bit of melting but higher up the snowpack should be pretty stable. Warmer temperatures are expected tomorrow before another strong front moves into the region Tuesday night which is expected to produce some solid dumps through out Wednesday and Thursday.
