When will the snow return?
No new snow to report this morning in Hirafu village but looking at the snow line on Mt. Yotei there was a dusting above 1600m elevation.

Walked up the Stairway to Heaven course and made our way back down through the Hanazono winter park area and out onto Silver Dream. The runs are looking ready to go with the undergrowth trimmed back nicely.

This afternoon Mt. Yotei has emerged from the clouds a few times and you can clearly make out the Hirafu hiking course switch backing its way up.
