Yesterday was the last day of operations for the old faithful King Hooded Triple Lift #3 or Rock C as it was affectionally known. This lift has been in operation since 1985.
King #3 Hooded Triple ( ROCK C ) is no more.
In an exciting development Tokyu resort will start work from today dismantling the lift and replacing it with a new high speed hooded quad lift that will start operations for the coming season in December 2016.
The new King Lift #4 Plan!!
It looks like the plan is to extend the length slightly which will hopefully mean no more uphill walks from the Gondola! Fingers crossed that the new lift will be able to operate in moderate winds and spread skiers and boarder out across the mountain more efficiently than good old Rock C.
