This morning there was no snow to report at village level. At first glance looking towards Mt.Yotei there was no obvious snowfall but looking up towards Mt. Annupuri peak from Hirafu it was a different story, a nice dusting clearly visible to the top of the Alpen...

It has been a while since we last saw a Motorized Paraglider in these parts but yesterday morning we were treated to a rare sight. This guy cruised past lower Hirafu Village from the Kutchan side and just kept going. Don’t know where he landed but it was a cool...
